Another plea is expected today in Liberty County in connection to a reported militia plot started by a group of Fort Stewart soldiers. Four people, including three active duty soldiers ate charged with a double murder.
After the murder arrests, prosecutors said a second wave of arrests were coming - of lower level group members who allegedly performed thefts and drug deals to help finance operations of the militia.
Today, one of the defendants charged in those thefts is expected to plead guilty. Randall Dearman was indicted on 29 counts of violating the gang terrorism act along with various burglaries and auto thefts.
