Sydney Cameron

Sydney joined the WRBL news team in December 2011. She comes from Washington, D.C. where she was a freelance reporter.

Sydney was born in Chicago, Ill., but raised in the Lone Star State, right outside of Dallas.

She graduated from American University with a degree in broadcast journalism. Post-graduation, Sydney traveled to Auckland, New Zealand, where she volunteered for a year as an associate producer and video editor for a television series.

In her free time, she loves reading, walking, exploring new places, traveling and volunteering in the community. Sydney worked at WUSA9, the CBS affiliate in D.C. where she worked on many exciting stories including, Election Night 2008 and "Snow-Maggedon 2010."

Sydney is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She also takes great pride in being a voice for the Columbus community. Contact her with story ideas at scameron@wrbl.com.
