Shawn Brooks took over in the second half, scoring 17 points to lead the Beach High School Bulldogs over Brantley County 55-44 in the Region 1-AAA tournament quarterfinals. Brooks totaled 21 points for the game. The Bulldogs will face the #2 seed, Savannah High at 5:30pm Thursday evening at Johnson High School.

Tattnall County started and finished strong in a 60-29 win over New Hampstead. The Phoenix made a run in the second half to take the lead, but the Battle Creek Warriors dominated the second half. They'll face Johnson at 8:30pm.
Jasmine Roberts scored 18 points to lead Southeast Bulloch to a 40-28 win over the Johnson Lady Atomsmashers.
