Dozens Of Meth Labs Found In Effingham Home

EFFINGHAM COUNTY -

Authorities in Effingham County discovered dozens of Meth labs in a home on McLaws road Wednesday morning. Several of the soda-bottle style labs were still active and cooking as officials arrived.

WSAV.com's Andrew Davis is on the scene as investigators continue to comb the property and recover more evidence.

Officials say more than 100 meth-making devices have been located, with some 150lbs of Meth-positive product.

Its One of the biggest meth busts in recent memory in Effingham county. More than 100 one pot meth labs and 150 lbs of method positive product all found inside a house on Mclaws road in Guyton.

Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at the home this morning. Inside they found several labs still cooking and dozens more filled with meth. They also discovered large amount of meth ingredients and chemicals to cook the drug.

Two people inside the home were arrested and are now facing meth-related charges.
