Port Wentworth Police Say Missing Mother And Child Found Safe

Update:  Port Wentworth Police have canceled the lookout.  They say the mother and child have been found safe.

Port Wentworth Police are looking for a woman and her 2 year old daughter who went missing on Wednesday.  37 year old Carolyn Sapp Downing and 2 year old Emily Sapp were last seen at the Ramada Limited in Port Wentworth around 11am on Wednesday.  Police say both mother and child are believed to be in danger.  Carolyn Sapp Downing is described as 5'11'' tall, approximately 220 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.  Emily is described as having blue eyes and curly light brown or blond hair.  She stands approximately two feet tall and weighs about 20 pounds.  The little girl was last seen wearing pink pants and a pink top.
