Man Killed in McIntosh Co. Accident

SAVANNAH, GA -

A Glynn County man was killed Saturday morning in a one vehicle accident in McIntosh County.  It happened on Highway 57 near the Long County line.  State trooper Adam Denton says the victim, who was driving a van, was attempting to pass two cars when he hit the shoulder and lost control flipping the vehicle.  The victim has been identified as 62-year old Harry Emmons of Brunswick.  Authorities say he was not wearing a seat belt.

    The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is searching for two missing, possibly endangered people out of Hilton Head Island. Kenneth Anderson, 87, and Phyllis Anderson, 85, were reportedly on their way to visit family in Lawrenceville, Ga. at about 10 a.m. on Friday.
