One night a year women in Savannah take a break from their busy family lives for a staycation together. Savannah Girlfriends hosts the slumber party for women to show off their individuality. The event is uniquely suited for all personalities giving women a great opportunity to network, bond and of course have fun.
"Anything from karaoke to break dancing, hula hoop, and hop scotch all kinds of games. We just let the little girl in us come out and we play," said Michelle Rouche.
"It's important for women just to get together and of all races and creeds just to get together just to have good fun. We do so much. We're so bombarded so we need time to have fun,' said Brenda Jackson Brown.
Later tonight the women will have a slumber party fashion show.
