A serious accident in Hinesville Friday night has sent four people to the hospital. It happened when two cars collided shortly before 10pm on Highway 196 in front of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
One of the victims-- a woman-- had to be transported by medical helicopter to the hospital. As of 10:30pm, the westbound lane of Highway 196 was still blocked off.

Savannah's "March Against Monsanto" begins with a rally at noon Saturday at Forsyth Park. It will be followed with a march that is scheduled to get underway at 2:00pm.
