
Around 400 marines from the US and South Korea braved bitterly cold weather for a joint training exercise. It was all to test their limits in extreme conditions.
It took place at a ski resort in Pyeongchang, east of Seoul.
They had to walk through icy water, do push-ups and throw snow on their bodies. The exercises run from February 4 to February 22. It also involves firearms training, military skiing, ice diving and alpine climbing.
