As the investigation into the crash continues, the victim in a Effingham County hit and run has died.
It happened on Hodgeville road near Forest Haven road back on December 9.
47 year old Mitchell Johnson was hit from behind while riding his bicycle.
Effingham County Sheriff's say they do have a person of interest in the case, but Georgia State Patrol's investigative team is still looking into the case.
