An Effingham homicide suspect is behind bars for a different crime.

Wade Hall was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide and other charges in October of 2011.

Last week he pleaded not guilty to 14 counts from the wreck that killed Joshua Stafford in April of 2011.

Hall was driving and authorities say he was under the influence at the time.

Stafford was a senior at Effingham county high school and the son of an Effingham county deputy.

Monday night Springfield police arrested Wade Hall for possession of drug paraphernalia.

No word yet on how this latest arrest will affect the vehicular homicide case.
