Sex Offender Sought By Chatham County Authorities

The CCSO is still looking for absconded sex offender Christopher Aaron Walter.  Walter, 30, was convicted in 2002 in Georgia for Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes and has been labeled a sexual predator by the state.  Walter disabled his electronic ankle monitor on November 13 and has been missing ever since.  He is homeless and last indicated he was living under the Talmadge Bridge near the Oglethorpe Bus Station.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Walter please contact the CCSO's SORT unit at (912) 656-5715 or contact CrimeStoppers at (921) 234-2020 or call 911.
