Alvin Dubois is wanted for violating his probation Alvin Dubois is wanted for violating his probation

1985.

The Cosby Show ruled TV and Wham's Careless Whisper was number one on the pop charts.

It was also the first time this week's Fugitive Files suspect was arrested.

Alvin Dubois is wanted for violating his probation on a series of charges.

"He is one of those guys that don't want to cooperate." explains Chatham County Sheriff's Deputy Malcolm Hardaway. "Last year he missed at least 3 visitations to his probation officer. So they put out a warrant for his arrest."

His latest arrest was far from his first.

Just look at the length of his booking sheet, which dates all the way back to 1985.

He's been picked up for everything from simple battery to aggravated assault, both multiple times.

Carrying a concealed weapon, kidnapping, and violating his probation at least 11 times.

"They know the system, know how to play the system," said the Deputy. "They know how to hide form the system. But you can always hide, but in time you will get caught."

Sheriff's believe Alvin Dubois is hiding out in the West Savannah area, possibly near Price and 37th streets.

And he may be 48 years old, but investigators say that doesn't mean he not just as dangerous as any "young" criminal.

"It's not the age, it's what you know," explained Deputy Hardaway. "He can hurt some people if he doesn't want to go back to jail. He'll hurt me, you, my partner, and I'm not going to let that happen."

If you can help find Alvin Dubois, call Chatham County Sheriff's or Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020.

Remember, if your tip leads to an arrest you could be eligible for a cash reward.
