Parents Await Answers Following Atlanta School Shooting

Authorities are on the scene of a reported shooting at Price Middle School in Atlanta. Reports on our news partner WXIA-TV suggest one victim is a 14-year-old student. Officers on the scene say a teacher was also injured in the incident. Neither injury is believed to be life threatening. A suspect is in custody, school officials say. Early reports suggest the shooter in custody is also a student. 

Atlanta police say they received a 911 call reporting shots fired at 1:50pm. Witnesses say the dispute may have stemmed from an earlier argument. The shooting is said to have taken place outside of the school.

As of now the school remains on lockdown. Students are expected to be released at the normal dismissal time.Multiple police and SWAT units remain on the scene.
