Police Search For ATM Robber

Suspected ATM Robber Suspected ATM Robber

Savannah Chatham Metro Police are trying to identify and locate a man who robbed ATM customers at a local bank.

Investigators say the man was wearing a mask and or hooded shirt and approached customers who were using the ATM at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 3500 block of West Bay Street.

Police say the man forced customers to withdraw money and give it to him on at least four different occasions.

 Detectives also say the man may be connected to other robberies in Savannah and Garden City.

Anyone with information that can lead to the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020.  A cash award is given to anyone with information leading to an arrest.
