Metro Police Try to ID Robbery Suspects

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are asking for help identifying two men who allegedly assaulted and robbed a man on a downtown street.

Investigators say the incident happened near Lincoln and York St. around 4:00 p.m. Monday.

One suspect is a black male with a dark complexion and dreadlocks.

At the time he was wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The other is also a black male but with a light complexion. 

He was wearing a white rag over his hair, orange sweat shirt and Timberland boots, police said.

Investigators say these men may have also been involved in other incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020.
