Lillie Bell Hayes always taught her students that the world is at their fingertips. “I always thought it was my job to prepare my students for their entrance into the working world.” And the Claxton native did just that for 36 years. She was a creative English Teacher who wanted her students to seize every learning moment. Tonight in on News 3 at 6 hear how she prepared students in Our Hometown for everyday life.
