Taking Time to Serve on MLK Day

Savannah -

Dr. Martin Luther King once said Life's most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others?
Americans across the country including Savannah celebrated today by serving others.
They say it's something Martin Luther King would be proud of.
Savannah feed the hungry let their light shine by holding a community dinner for the homeless and working poor.
People from all walks of life also received clothing.
"We still have so many people that are working poor that don't have jobs and so our focus today is just trying to equip those that are hurting and still hungry and still need a helping hand," says Carl Gilliard of Savannah Feed The Hungry.
Savannah Feed The Hungry also provided health services during today's fourth annual community dinner.
