The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum in Pooler is welcoming a new addition to their exhibit.
Today the fuselage of a B-17 from World War Two was delivered to the museum.
For fourteen years they’ve been trying to get a B-17 but had had no luck.
That is until they found this one hiding out in storage in Washington D.C.
During World War Two members of the Mighty Eighth flew B-17’s over Germany on bombing missions.
The goal is to restore the B-17 and have it on display…they expect that process to take several months.
