The FBI is requesting public assistance with identifying two individuals who robbed the Wachovia Bank branch located at 4516 Augusta Road, Garden City, Georgia today.
Witnesses reported the robbers entered the branch at 11:27 a.m., and while one stood in the lobby brandishing a hand gun, the other jumped the teller counter and began removing money from drawers. The robber in the lobby was described as a black male, 5’6”, wearing dark blue overalls and a bright blue knit cap. The robber who jumped the counter was described as black male, 6’4”, wearing sunglasses, a dark blue knit cap, and a light gray jacket with a blue collar trim. One individual was carrying a green Army backpack. The robbers were last seen running together from the bank. There were no injuries to bank employees or customers.
