Two Men Arrested For Drug Sale Following Vehicle Pursuit

Effingham County sheriffs deputies arrested 2 subjects this afternoon after a deputy observed a drug transaction at the Goshen Corner Gas Station.

After the deputy observed the transaction, he attempted to stop the suspect vehicle at Highway 21 at Goshen Road. Deputies chased the vehicle to the Days Inn Parking lot in Rincon where both suspects fled on foot. They were apprehended by Sheriff’s deputies following a foot chase.

Deputies arrested 27 year old Desmond Hill of Rincon who has been charged with sale of marijuana, felony fleeing to elude, possession of a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana, and no insurance.

18 year old Pheron Bush has been charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
