Today and yesterday we received numerous calls from people on the southside of Savannah who said there were recyclables were never picked up.
One lady emailed News Three saying “how can this be a huge success when it’s 6:15 and my street is lined with recycle units filled to the brim with recyclable items from the holidays?“
We took her and other viewers concerns to the city.
They say they’re aware of the situation and explained more people participated in recycling then they expected and they simply didn’t have the staff to do it all.
This morning crews were out taking care of areas they didn’t get to this morning.
The city is asking the public to be patient as they get this new program up and running.

Yippeee!
Failed to plan! Typical Savannah Gooberment work…
I have all ideas they did not leave out the Fines revenues in their planning…
