We have some good news and maybe a little bad news.   
The good news first, with a bad economy, the City of Savannah is trying to hold taxes. 
The bad news is in some cases that may mean a little more work for you.
You know that part of your property between the sidewalk and the street that you haven’t had to worry about?

Teens Spend Summer Volunteering in Savannah

When most of us think of vacation we think of something relaxing…but for one group of students they think of the exact opposite.
Across the country this summer thousands of high school and middle school students are spending their summer helping others.

EPD Investigates Garden City Sewage Spill

A 3 On Your Side follow up tonight to a story we brought you regarding a sewage spill in Garden City.
A News 3 viewer called asking for our help. She says for close to two months now sewage has been flowing into this ditch and into the Horseshoe Canal.
Garden City employees actually found it and contacted the Georgia Environmental Protection Department.
The E.P.D issued a swimming and fishing advisory for the canal, then the problem cleared up, until this weekend.
News Three’s Alice Massimi went out with the E.P.D. today while they investigated the smelly problem.

A Port Wentworth man’s generosity may have to come to an end. The first weekend of March every year Willie Johnson hands out collard greens for free to seniors and disabled vets. In its thirteenth year it’s morphed into a festival but now something is taking a bite out of his crops.
