Imperial Sugar Explosion Victim Released from Burn Center

Save This PageGood news out of Augusta where another Imperial Sugar Patient has been discharged.
The Joseph M. Still Burn Center initially received 20 patients injured in the plant explosion on February 7th. Five patients died as a result of their burn injuries and ten have been discharged.
Three patients remain in critical condition at the burn center. Two are listed in good condition in the rehab unit.
In total, the explosion killed 13 sugar refinery workers.
