The Savannah-Chatham County Public School district's high school principals spoke before the school board today about the schedules at the high schools.  This year was the first for the block 8, A/B schedules where students would have classes on alternating days and not consecutive days.

The principals, Dr. Deonn Bostic-Stone from Beach High and Lang Brannen from Jenkins High talked about what they've evaluated with the new schedules all year long.  They say it would be better to go back to the 4x4 schedule where the students would take 4 classes for the first semester of the year, receive their grades and then take a second set of classes the next semester.
