Plane Crash Victim Released From Hospital

A North Carolina family of three was heading back home from Florida. The pilot, Terry Scallan, has been at Memorial Health since the crash.
The pilot of a plane that crashed on the front lawn of a Bryan County home last month is out of the hospital. The single-engine Piper Cherokee went down April 30th off Belfast Keller Road. That's about ten miles from Richmond Hill.
A North Carolina family of three was heading back home from Florida. The pilot – Terry Scallan – has been at Memorial Health since the crash.
The Associated Press reports both Scallan and his daughter have been discharged from the hospital. His granddaughter had two chipped teeth, but no serious injuries.
