We know the identity tonight of a body that was discovered in a Hilton Head lagoon last week.

Beaufort County Deputy Coronor Ed Allen says 58-year-old Gary Collins drowned in a lagoon near Coligny Plaza. Allen says he died at least a week before his body was found.

The area around the lagoon is frequented by the homeless, and Allen says Collins was homeless, too.
