Sand Gnat Fireworks
Thursday, July 3rd, game at 6:30 p.m., fireworks around 10 at Grayson Stadium on Victory Drive
The Savannah Adult Baseball League is playing an East / West All Star game. Come for the baseball game, a local band, thirsty Thursday, and fireworks. Fourth of July Sunshine Festival
Thursday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 6th in Neptune Park at the Pier, St. Simons Island
Arts & Crafts July 4-6, Entertainment, Food and Activities July 3-6. The best fireworks in Coastal Georgia will begin at 9 p.m. the night of July 4th with more fireworks than ever before. Bring a chair and meet your friends in the park to sit back and watch the show off the end of the Pier.
Reidsville Festivities
Friday, July 4th, 9 a.m. to dark at the park pond
The Reidsville Fire Department will be hosting the July 4th festivities. From 9 a.m. to noon: kids fishing rodeo at the park pond. 3:00 p.m.: entertainment begins. Children’s games at the shelter by the pond. 6:00 p.m.: political forum at the entertainment shelter. Fireworks display at dark over the park pond.
Fort McAllister Fourth of July Program
Friday July 4th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fort McAllister State Historic Park in Richmond Hill
Come celebrate our Nation’s birthday at Fort McAllister. Pack a lunch and come prepared to play games of the period. There will be ice cold watermelon. Cost: Adults $4, children $2.50. Directions: I-95, Exit #90, then east on GA Hwy. 144, look for signs.
Rincon Fourth of July parade
Friday, July 4th at 10 a.m.
The parade will be held on July 4th this year, following the normal route of Macomber Park to Lexington Avenue to Highway 21 and then to Richland Avenue.
The procession begins at 10 a.m.
Fourth of July Ceremony
Friday, July 4th, 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Colonial Park Cemetery in Savannah
Daughters of the American Revolution request the honor of your presence at this commemoration of America’s Independence. At the Button Gwinnett Monument in Colonial Park Cemetery, located at the corner of Abercorn and Oglethorpe streets in Savannah. Light refreshments, free and open to the public.
Fort Morris Independence Day Colonial Faire
Friday, July 4th, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fort Morris State Historic Site
There will be games of skill, prizes, live colonial music, musket and cannon firing, opening/closing ceremonies and you can meet the Georgia Signers of the Declaration of Independence. The event is FREE. Fort Morris is located 7 miles east of I-95, exit 76, near Midway, Georgia. Follow the brown Liberty Trail signs. Shelter Cove Harbour Fireworks and Concert
Friday, July 4th, 6:30 p.m. to dark at Shelter Cove Harbour on Hilton Head Island
Fireworks will explode over Shelter Cove Harbour as part of HarbourFest’s annual Fourth of July celebration, which is free and open to the public. Musician Shannon Tanner will celebrate two decades of performing at HarbourFest with free concerts at 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Patriotic Big Band Show
Friday, July 4th, 6 p.m. at the Lucas Theatre in Savannah
The third annual “Patriotic Big Band Salute – Savannah Swings” at the Lucas Theatre for the Arts, 32 Abercorn St. Show begins at 6 p.m. and culminates with a street parade to reserved seats at the Savannah River to watch the fireworks. Red, White & Blues on the Bluff

4th of July celebration in beautiful historic downtown Darien featuring great blues music by Vic Waters. Fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. over the Darien River. July 4th Celebration

To help celebrate the nation’s 232nd Birthday, a special patriotic living history event will include a Civil War baseball game using 1860s rules and equipment, cannon firings and soldier demonstrations.
