A coastal boy at heart, Lee grew up in southeast Virginia and is proud to make Savannah and the Coastal Empire his home. He graduated with a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of North Carolina / Asheville in December 1998. Lee forecast weather at WLOS-TV in Asheville, NC and KIMT-TV in Mason City, IA, before joining WSAV in March of 2000. He is also a part time faculty member at Armstrong Atlantic State University where he teaches Meteorology. Lee resides on Wilmington Island and his hobbies include playing sports (especially tennis), traveling and reading.

Lee holds the television seal of the National Weather Association.
