Alice Massimi

After working at one of the PBS Affiliates in the Philadelphia market as a reporter/producer on a newsmagazine show, Alice Massimi is happy to return to Savannah.

Originally from the Hudson Valley in New York State, Alice fell in love with television news when she was an anchor on a student-run morning television show in high school.

Alice majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Spanish at SUNY Oswego where she was an honors graduate. She got her first real job in television in Watertown, NY, at WWTI Newswatch 50. There, she got a chance to do it all... report, shoot, edit, produce, and anchor. After that she got her first taste of the South when she moved to Savannah and worked as a reporter/producer for WJCL/WTGS.

While Alice loves all types of stories, her favorites involve the military. She has covered activities of the 10th Mountain Division, the US Army Rangers, various reserve units, the US Coast Guard and even got to follow the 3rd Infantry Division to Fort Polk, LA, for live fire training exercises.

Alice volunteers with the USO and is a member of the SUNY Oswego Alumni Board of Directors. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and watching the Yankees.
