SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Free and healthy food will be available to some South Carolina seniors, thanks in part to a state agency. St. John Baptist Church and the South Carolina Department of Social Services are handing out free coupons to low-income people age 60 and older. It happsns today at the church on West Beltline Boulevard.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Authorities in Cherokee County have identified a man whose body has been found in Lake Whelchel Coroner Dennis Fowler identified him as Terry Lynn Martin Jr. of Gaffney. Fowler said Martin was reported missing by a relative Thursday night.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - The City of Columbia is holding a family fun day this weekend. The city's Parks and Recreation Department is putting on its annual Let's Move - Kids Day at Finlay Park today. The daylong event includes an interactive family fun zone and petting zoo. There is also a family fitness challenge, pony rides and live entertainment.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The Spoleto Festival USA is under way once again. The 37th season of the internationally known festival opened yesterday with a brass fanfare, speeches and a shower of confetti in front of Charleston City Hall. This year, there are 160 performances during the 17-day festival run.
