WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina's top prosecutor is scheduled to speak at a ceremony to commemorate the unveiling of a marker for fallen World War II aviator trainees from the Columbia area.

Attorney General Alan Wilson is planning to take part in an unveiling ceremony today at Columbia Metropolitan Airport in West Columbia.

BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) - An expanded veterans' outpatient clinic at the Naval Hospital in Beaufort is ready to accept patients. The center, operated with the Ralph Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, opens today.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Officials with the Appalachian Regional Commission and the U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Education are meeting with nearly two dozen groups across West Virginia this week as part of an Appalachian Foodways Tour. It began in North Carolina and continues next month in Ohio and New York.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - More than 80 military veterans from World War II and the Korean War are flying from South Carolina to Washington, D.C., for a tour of memorials erected in their honor. Today's scheduled trip is being sponsored by Lexington Medical Center.
